Join Queen Elizabeth on her visit to the village of Fareham
The Story Thus Far
It is the year 1575, Spring has stolen across the land after a mild winter. The crops are planted, game is plentiful, and the people of the town of Fareham, Hampshire are content with life.
Being infected with the airs of Spring, Tom Foolery, master of Village Revels, has gathered all the folk in and around Fareham for a Spring celebration.
Little do the good folk know that the Queen is passing nearby on her Spring Progress. Wishing to evade the stuffiness and strictures of State, Queen Elizabeth has called for a hunt. Lord Dudley, the Queen's Master of Horse, quickly assembles a host for the Royal Adventure.
The Queen's party happens upon the small village of Fareham, just at the beginning of the Spring festival. Dudley, ever the schemer, sees this as another opportunity to press the Queen for her hand in marriage. Sir Francis Drake also rushes to the village to press his suit and ensure the Queen has not forgotten him. The Harbor Master and Village Magistrate sees this God sent opportunity as a way to gain Royal favor for the small village he holds dear in his heart.
For the Queen, it is an unplanned opportunity to let her hair down and enjoy herself as she rarely does since taking Crown and Scepter.
The plots are afoot and the hounds have caught the scent! Just how will this chase end? What hilarity will ensure as each player jockeys for the best position?
